Betayastro has seven stylists and technicians — not because we can't grow, but because this size is deliberate. At seven people, the team still debriefs after difficult colour jobs, shares technique notes from training, and actually knows each other's clients. When your regular stylist is unavailable, whoever covers for them already knows your file. That kind of continuity is only possible at a certain scale, and we've chosen to stay there. Every team member trained through an apprenticeship under a senior stylist — nobody arrived here straight from school and was handed their own column on day one.

Nadia K. — Lead Stylist
Nadia has been cutting hair professionally for eleven years and joined Betayastro at its launch in 2018. Her speciality is precision cuts for fine and medium-density hair. She consults on every new-client appointment.
Jordan L. — Senior Colourist
Jordan came from a decade in Vancouver's editorial scene before settling in Edmonton. Her technical strength is balayage and colour correction — she handles the most complex requests on the books.
Aisha O. — Texture Specialist
Aisha trained in Toronto and specializes in curly, coily, and textured hair. She offers cuts, moisture treatments, and protective styling for all curl patterns from 2B to 4C.
Marcus R. — Men's Grooming
Marcus brings a background in barber craft and styling to every men's appointment. He focuses on fade techniques, classic cuts, and beard shaping — with an eye for how a cut will grow out.
Sophie V. — Skincare Technician
Sophie holds a provincial aesthetics license and a diploma in clinical skincare. She tailors every facial to the client's current skin phase — not a standing menu — using professional Canadian product lines.
Tariq B. — Nail Technician
Tariq's precise, clean nail work has earned a loyal following in Edmonton. He covers gel, classic lacquer, extensions, and nail art — and is particularly requested for wedding-party nail services.
Jordan fixed a colour job that two previous salons had made worse. She sat with me for twenty minutes before touching my hair, drew out what she was going to do, and delivered it in one session. I went from patchy orange to the exact warm brunette I'd asked for. I'll follow her anywhere.
